August 30, 2022 | Analía Vallejo Larrea

Nova Pantalla is the first exhibition dedicated to the art of videogames in Catalonia. Its aim is to reach both video game fans and people who do not know about them. For this reason, the exhibition has an interactive character, with immersive content and games so that everyone can participate.

The idea of this exhibition is to answer questions such as: How is a video game created? What are the professional profiles behind these interactive works? What are the differences between "Triple A" and "indie" developers? Why has Barcelona become one of the great capitals of mobile video games? The answers to these questions can be found in the exhibition, accompanied by a current x-ray of the sector in Catalonia. Thanks to immersive installations, interactive content and games, all audiences will be able to discover the creation process behind a video game.
